SAN ANGELO, TX — Coffee chain 7 Brew held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its Sherwood Way location and announced a $1,500 donation to CASA of West Texas.
The drive-thru beverage stand is located at 5875 Sherwood Way. Representatives from CASA of West Texas attended the event to receive the donation.
Zac Cockman, a franchisee for 7 Brew San Angelo, said the company is focused on community involvement as it continues operating in the area.
“We couldn’t be more excited to bring another location to the San Angelo community,” Cockman said. “We look forward to serving our guests and cultivating kindness through our partnership with CASA of West Texas.”
Lauren Bell, CASA of West Texas community engagement program manager, said the donation will help support the organization’s work with children in the region.
“We are immensely grateful for 7 Brew’s staff and team for collaborating with us and supporting our CASA team and volunteers,” Bell said. “Their generous support is providing resources to our volunteers and staff who directly support children daily in our community to ensure every child has a safe and nurturing home.”
According to the company, the Sherwood Way stand is expected to employ about 50 people. Applications for employment are available through the company’s website.
7 Brew operates more than 550 locations nationwide and offers a menu that includes coffee, energy drinks, teas, smoothies, and shakes.
