City of San Angelo Operations Closed for Christmas, New Year’s Holidays

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — City of San Angelo offices and services will close Dec. 24–26 and Jan. 1 in observance of the Christmas and New Year’s holidays, according to city officials.

Trash collection will be delayed by one day during both holiday weeks. The landfill will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

Multiple city facilities will be closed on the holiday dates, including the San Angelo Animal Shelter, Fairmount Cemetery’s business offices, the San Angelo–Tom Green County Health Department, the McNease Convention Center, Municipal Court, Parks and Recreation offices, Station 618 and Santa Fe Crossing senior centers, Southside and Carl Ray Johnson recreation centers, water billing offices and WIC offices.

WIC offices will also be closed on Tuesday, Dec. 23.

City offices will reopen Monday, Dec. 29, and Friday, Jan. 2.

Fort Concho and its visitor center at 630 S. Oakes St. will be closed Dec. 24–26 and Jan. 1. Outside of those dates, the fort will operate on its regular schedule from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
