Electric Vehicle Bursts Into Flames at San Angelo Dealership

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — An electric vehicle fire was reported Friday afternoon in San Angelo at Randall Motors.

According to scanner communications, numerous residents reported hearing explosions about 12:20 p.m. coming from the back lot of the auto dealership at 801 W. Avenue N.

Upon arriving, firefighters discovered an electric Cadillac Escalade fully engulfed in flames. The back lot is next to a residential neighborhood.

The fire was soon extinguished by firefighters.
