SAN ANGELO, TX — The Mini Miss Wool Pageant will return Jan. 24, 2026, at 5 p.m. at the Brooks & Bates Theatre, organizers announced.
The event, open to children ages 6 to 14, celebrates San Angelo’s wool history through themed activities that support confidence, creativity and community.
The pageant weekend begins with a Friday night reception exclusively for contestants, featuring food, drinks and a chance to mingle.
"From themed décor to sheep-inspired flair throughout the weekend, the pageant embraces San Angelo's wool heritage in a fun, lighthearted way that makes this event unlike any other," information from Downtown San Angelo stated.
On pageant day, participants will perform on stage in front of a live audience. First-place winners will receive a sash, James Avery jewelry, a custom sheep trophy, a mohair jacket designed by Dolores Unique Designs, and the opportunity to ride on Downtown San Angelo’s float in the 2026 rodeo parade and potentially appear at the 10th Annual Brews Ewers & BBQ event.
Second- and third-place winners will receive sashes and trophies. Registration remains open. Families can request forms and guidelines by emailing [email protected] or visiting www.downtownsanangelo.com.
