CVCAA Director to Spend Night on Streets to Raise Donations for Homeless Programs

SAN ANGELO, TX — The Concho Valley Community Action Agency’s executive director, Mike Burnett, plans to spend a night on the streets of San Angelo to help raise awareness and donations for the agency’s homeless programs.

Burnett will be on the streets from 6 p.m. Thursday until 6 a.m. Friday.

“Mike will complete tasks, face unexpected challenges, and draw ‘chance’ cards that could either help or hinder his journey—all to shine a light on the realities many face every day,” the CVCAA posted on its Facebook page.

Burnett’s night will begin at City Hall, 72 W. College Ave.

Anyone wishing to donate money or items to help the homeless can do so at www.cvcaa.org/give.
