San Angelo City Offices Closed Monday for MLK Day

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Most city offices in San Angelo will be closed Monday, Jan. 19, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day and will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 20. 

There will be no interruption in trash pickup or landfill operations on the holiday. Fort Concho’s Visitor Center in Barracks 1 will remain open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with self-guided tours available. The fort is located at 630 S. Oakes St.; more information is available at fortconcho.com.

Closed city operations Jan. 19 will include:

  • Animal Shelter

  • City Hall and Community Development building

  • City Hall Annex

  • Fairmount Cemetery business offices

  • Municipal Court

  • Parks and Recreation offices

  • San Angelo-Tom Green County Health Department

  • Southside and Carl Ray Johnson recreation centers

  • Station 618 and Santa Fe Crossing senior centers

  • Women, Infants and Children (WIC) offices
