Veteran Attorney Endorses Leland Lacy for TGC Court at Law No. 1 Judge

The following is a letter of endorsement from veteran Waco attorney Richard V. McCall in support of Leland Lacy's candidacy for Tom Green County Court at Law No. 1 judge.

To the citizens of Tom Green County:

Leland Lacy will be a fine County Court at Law No. 1 judge for Tom Green County. I am naturally biased in my opinion as he has been my son-in-law for 17 years, but objectively I have also observed in Leland many of the same characteristics of my late father, Abner V. McCall, who took leave from Baylor University to commit to an appointment from the governor to fill out an unexpired term on the Texas Supreme Court.

Leland is a lifelong resident of Tom Green County, a conservative, Christian family man, who has made my daughter, Laura, and their two sons, Lane and Luke, a great life in San Angelo. Leland, with degrees from A&M undergraduate and Texas Tech Law School, has the education, 18-year experience as a prosecutor, temperament, and solid judgment to make considered decisions in arriving at justice in his role as a judge.

Having practiced law for 50 years before scores of judges, I believe I have a good idea as to what it takes to be a good judge. I urge you to go to the polls and vote for Leland Lacy for County Court at Law No. 1 Judge during early voting or on March 3rd on Election Day.
