Concho Valley Republican Women to Host Panel on Artificial Intelligence

SAN ANGELO, TX — The Concho Valley Republican Women will host a panel discussion on the future of artificial intelligence next Thursday, March 5 at 6 p.m. at Bentwood Country Club. Titled "The Future of AI," the panel will feature three guests who are experts in their respective fields. 

State Representative Drew Darby will present information on the impact of AI on the state in terms of electricity, water and human resources. Blake Calvert with Kodiak Robotics will discuss the capabilities and future of autonomous semi trucks that currently operate in the Permian Basin. Finally, Nikki Hendricks with CYBER.ORG will discuss how organizations such as hers incorporate cybersecurity and AI curricula into public education throughout the state. 

Dinner will be served during the event, and table sponsorships are still available. Tables of eight are $500, and individual tickets are $75 each.
