ASU Mayer Museum Kicks Off Spring 'Night at the Museum' March 3

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - Angelo State University's Mayer Museum will host its first "Night at the Museum" program of the spring on Tuesday, March 3, in the Mayer Museum at 2501 W. Ave. N.

Night at the Museum will run from 5-8 p.m. and is free and open to community members of all ages. For this installment, activities will include:

  • ASU Mobile STEM Lab - interactive tours and demonstrations
  • ASU Society of Physics Students - physics experiments and demonstrations
  • ASU Math for Elementary Teachers group - mathematical games and more
  • Angelo State Natural History Collections specimens
  • Tri-Beta Biology Honor Society - activities and information table
  • Kappa Pi Art Fraternity & Friday Night Art Club - creative art activities
  • Gallery Games - Concho River Legacy Trail Seek & Find

The Mayer Museum's permanent exhibits and activities will also be open, as well as the current traveling exhibits:

  • "Century of the Scout"
  • "Concho River Legacy Trail"
  • "Constructed Landscapes: Works by Anthony Wright"

The next ASU Night at the Museum event is scheduled for Tuesday, May 5.
