New Dollar General Leads February Building Permits

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The city issued four commercial building permits totaling more than $10.4 million in February, including one for a new Dollar General store, according to the monthly Permit and Inspection Report. 

The Dollar General project, valued at $1 million, is planned for 1821 Country Club Rd. 

The largest permit went to the Concho Valley Transit District for $7,055,000 at 5507 Christoval Rd.

Other issued permits include $2 million for Insco Distributing Inc. at 3811 Spraberry Rd. and $422,000 for Donny Rodriguez at 228 N. Chadbourne St.

A number of large commercial projects remain pending. They include a proposed $48 million Glen Meadows Baptist Church at 6401 Knickerbocker Rd., a $41 million project at the San Angelo Coliseum at 50 E. 43rd St., and a $13.455 million project for SAISD’s McGill Elementary School at 201 Millspaugh St.
