New HTeaO and Free Rein Joint Venture Leads April Building Permits

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The city issued three commercial building permits totaling more than $49 million in April, including one for a new HTeaO and Free Rein joint venture, according to the monthly Permit and Inspection Report.

HTeaO, a national tea chain, and Free Rein Coffee Company, which was founded in San Angelo, have an exclusive partnership to bring Free Rein’s coffee beverages to HTeaO locations across the United States. They are bringing both businesses under the same roof as part of a joint venture at 5170 W. Houston Harte Expy. 

The largest permit went to the Glen Meadows Baptist Church for $48 million at 6401 Knickerbocker Rd. 

Other issued permits include $300,000 for Shannon Medical Center at 3501 Knickerbocker Rd. 

A number of large commercial projects remain pending. They include a proposed $41 million project at the San Angelo Coliseum at 50 E. 43rd St., a $30 million project for Shannon Medical Center at 4421 Knickerbocker Rd., a $2.9 million project for Ethicon, Inc. at 3348 Pulliam St., a $1.85 million Whataburger project for the location at 1830 N. Bryant Blvd., a $1 million Old Navy project at 4161 Sunset Dr., and a $150,000 Los Gallos Bakery at 2105 Armstrong St.
