SAN ANGELO, TX — Downtown Movie Night in San Angelo will begin its 2026 summer season Friday, May 29, with the film “Zootopia.”
The annual event is moving this year to the Brooks & Bates Theatre, 82 Gillis St. It had traditionally been held outdoors in a parking lot at 17 E. Twohig Ave.
Movies will be shown at 7 p.m. every Friday during the summer through Aug. 14. Concessions will be available.
A full schedule has not been released yet.
Downtown Movie Night is entering its 20th year. This month’s event is sponsored by the San Angelo Performing Arts Center and the Angelo Film Society.
