SAN ANGELO, TX - Angelo State University will host an ACT Preparation and College Planning Day for local and area high school students on Tuesday, Aug. 4, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the ASU Rassman Building at 2222 Dena Drive.
The interactive, workshop-style event will feature nationally recognized ACT expert Chad Cargill, who has helped more than 200,000 students improve their performance on the ACT college entrance exam through engaging, strategy-focused instruction.
Activities will include:
- ACT preparation workshop
- Lunch on campus
- College planning workshop focused on the application process
- College financing session on the FAFSA and financial aid
- Optional guided campus tour at the conclusion
Cost for the event is $75 per student and includes lunch and a T-shirt. Advance registration is required through the online registration form.
High school students are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to improve their ACT score, strengthen their college applications, and increase their scholarship and financial aid opportunities.
