SAN ANGELO, TX — The City of San Angelo will hold a series of town hall meetings in every City Council district beginning Aug. 24, giving residents a chance to hear updates from their council members and meet new City Manager Phillip Urrutia.
Each meeting will feature a brief overview of district projects and citywide initiatives, followed by time for questions and discussions with city departments. While meetings will focus on the host district, all San Angelo residents and business owners are invited to attend.

The schedule is:
- District 3: Harry Thomas – Aug. 24, 2026, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church, 90 E. 14th St.
- District 1: Tommy Hiebert – Aug. 25, 2026, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Southgate Church of Christ, 528 Country Club Road
- District 1: Tommy Hiebert – Aug. 27, 2026, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Sierra Vista Methodist Church, 4522 College Hills Blvd.
- District 4: Patrick Keely – Sept. 1, 2026, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Fellowship, 2401 Armstrong St.
- District 6: Mary Coffey – Sept. 2, 2026, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at The Heights Church, 4512 Sherwood Way
- District 5: Karen Hesse Smith – Sept. 14, 2026, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 2309 S. A&M Ave.
- District 2: Joe Self – Sept. 15, 2026, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Lakeview Baptist Church, 4825 Grape Creek Road
