Girl Scouts Announce 2 New Cookies for Next Year's Lineup

WASHINGTON — Girl Scouts of the USA announced Tuesday that it will add two new cookies to its 2027 lineup, including its first allergy-friendly cookie and first dog cookie.

The new cookies, Girl Scout Sparkables and Patch Pals, will be available exclusively online for direct shipping beginning Jan. 12, the national launch date for the 2027 Girl Scout Cookie Program.

Sparkables, developed in partnership with Partake, are designed to avoid the nine major food allergens: wheat, tree nuts, peanuts, milk, eggs, soy, fish, sesame and shellfish. The crunchy oatmeal cookies contain chocolate chips and sprinkles.

Patch Pals, developed with BARK, are blueberry-muffin-flavored dog cookies. Each cookie features one of four Girl Scout patch designs, allowing dogs to participate in the cookie season.

Girl Scouts of the USA said the new offerings will provide “new ways for more girls, families and beloved pets” to participate in the Girl Scout Cookie Program.

The Girl Scout cookie season generally runs from January through April, though start dates vary by region.

The 2027 lineup will include Adventurefuls, Caramel Chocolate Chip, Caramel deLites/Samoas, Exploremores, Girl Scout Sparkables, Lemonades, Lemon-Ups, Patch Pals, Peanut Butter Patties/Tagalongs, Peanut Butter Sandwich/Do-si-dos, Thin Mints, Toffee-tastic and Trefoils.
