Sierra Vista Church to Host 39th Harvest Festival

SAN ANGELO, TX — Sierra Vista United Methodist Church will hold its 39th annual Harvest Festival on Saturday, Oct. 3, at 4522 College Hills Blvd., offering food, a garage sale, children's activities, and a pumpkin patch. 

The event runs from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. A pancake breakfast will be served from 8 to 9:30 a.m. for $5. Lunch is available from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for $10. Other features include a country store, kids' games hosted by the youth group, and a pumpkin patch. 

The Great Big Garage Sale, from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., invites buyers to pay what they feel is fair. Most items are unmarked except for some larger pieces. All proceeds will benefit Hangout San Angelo, West Texas Counseling & Guidance, Family Shelter of San Angelo, the church's food ministry, and its outreach fund. 

An online auction includes a 2003 vintage Indian Chief motorcycle with two Indian-labeled helmets. Bidding details are at sierravista.org/online-auction.
