San Angelo Opens Registration for Community Spay and Neuter Event

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- San Angelo Animal Services is partnering with Operation Kindness to host a community spay and neuter event, the City of San Angelo announced Thursday afternoon. 

The event is planned for November 13-15, and the location is to be determined. 

Registration is open through October 22 or until spaces fill. To register, fill out the registration application. Selected applicants will be contacted with appointment details.

Eligibility requirements:

  • Must reside within San Angelo city limits
  • Pets must be at least 4 months old
  • Dogs must weigh 70 pounds or less. XL breeds are not eligible
  • Pets must be microchipped and registered with the City of San Angelo
  • Limit of 1 pet per household
  • An appropriately sized wire crate is required for each pet

Priority will be given to residents in identified dense pet population neighborhoods, the city stated.
