San Angelo Community Plan Kickoff Begins Next Week

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The City of San Angelo is launching the San Angelo Community Plan, a community-driven effort to create a shared vision for the city's future.
The plan will bring together community priorities for growth and development, transportation and mobility, parks and open spaces, economic opportunity, infrastructure, and quality of life into a single, coordinated framework for the future.
The Community Plan will guide future decisions related to growth, transportation, parks and open spaces, economic development, infrastructure, and quality of life. Community input will play a central role in shaping recommendations and priorities throughout the planning process.
"Great communities don't happen by accident. They are shaped by the people who care about them," said Aaron Vannoy, Planning & Development Services Director. "We encourage residents to get involved and help create a vision that reflects what makes San Angelo special and where we want to go in the future."
