The San Angelo Elks Lodge will hold its annual, city wide Hoop Shoot contest. This event will be held on December 8th, at Sierra Vista Methodist Church Gym at 6:30 p.m.
Sierra Vista is located at 4522 College Hills Boulevard.
There will be a boy winner & girl winner chosen from 3 age groups. 8-9, 10-11, & 12-13. Each of the city winners will advance to the district tournament to be held in San Antonio in late January. Winners from the District contest, in each of the categories, will advance to the State Contest in Dallas. State winners will advance to the Regional contest, and those winners will advance to the National contest, to be held in Chicago April 14-17, 2016. The Elks organizations will help with travel expenses for the winners.
