NFL Hall of Fame Game Tonight, Ex-Cowboy Legend to be Inducted

CANTON,OH- The NFL preseason starts tonight with the Dallas Cowboys and the Pittsburgh Steelers squaring off in the Hall of Fame Game.

The Hall of Fame Game starts at 5:00 p.m. on FOX and even though the preseason has dropped 1 game, don’t expect a lot of starters to play.

Several of the Dallas Cowboys did not travel with the team including quarterback Dak Prescott, All-Pro guard Zack Martin, and defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence. The Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin has already announced that quarterback Mason Rudolph will start for Pittsburgh.

A couple players to watch early in the game are the Steelers’ Najee Harris and the Cowboys’ Micah Parsons. Dallas’ run defense has been suspect as of late and the Alabama product could be a decent challenge for Dallas’ youth-infused squad.

Dallas spent almost the entire 2021 NFL Draft on the defense and have a new defensive coordinator in Dan Quinn.

Expect vanilla game plans with second and third string players.

As for the inductions into the Hall of Fame, quarterback Peyton Manning, defensive back Charles Woodson, guard Alan Faneca, wide receivers Calvin Johnson and Drew Pearson, safety John Lynch, coach Tom Flores, and contributor Bill Nunn are receiving gold jackets and busts in the Hall.
