Houston Lands Stefon Diggs in Blockbuster Deal

HOUSTON, TX — Huge news out of Houston for the Texans broke on Wednesday, April 3. Buffalo Bills Wide Receiver and four-time Pro Bowler Stefon Diggs is headed to Texas. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Buffalo and Houston are finalizing terms to trade the star wide receiver to the Texans for a 2nd-round draft pick.

The Bills will receive a 2025 2nd-round pick for Diggs, a 2024 6th-round, and a 2025 5th-round pick.

Rumors swirled a day after Diggs commented on a fan’s opinion that he was not essential to Bills’ quarterback Josh Allen’s success. “You sure?” Diggs asked.

The Texans made several moves this offseason to surround sophomore quarterback CJ Stroud with veteran talent in what could be judged as a win-now mentality. Houston signed former Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon earlier this offseason and now adds veteran star Diggs to the fold.

Diggs joins a talented wide receiver room that, while young, proved to be one of the most explosive offenses in the league when healthy. He joins an offense that now includes Joe Mixon, Nico Collins, Tank Dell, former Dalton Schultz, and, of course, the reigning NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in CJ Stroud.
