San Angelo ISD Announces New Central HS Head Softball Coach

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - San Angelo ISD and Central High School announced Coach Robby Glasscock as the new head softball coach for the Lady Cats.

According to the school district, Coach Glasscock has over 26 years of coaching experience, most recently serving as the Fort Stockton High School head softball and cross country coach leading the softball program to a 3rd place finish and state ranking this season.

“We are excited to welcome Coach Glasscock to the Lady Cat Softball program,” said SAISD Executive Director of Athletics Rodney Chant. “Coach Glasscock has been a successful coach over his years as a head softball coach winning over 300 games. We look forward to watching the continued success of the Lady Cats under his direction.”

Throughout Coach Glasscocks’ coaching career, teams under his instruction have received many accolades including attending and placing at numerous district, regional, and state tournaments; bi-district championships and area finalists over the last several years, and leading state-ranked teams.

Coach Glasscock is also a member of the Texas High School Coaches Association and Texas Girls Coaches Association. He received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Sports from Southwest Texas State University.
