WALL, TX — Wall High School offensive lineman Baine Jenschke received his second college football offer earlier this week from Angelo State University.
Jenschke, who stands 6-foot-3, 280 pounds, had a stellar junior season last fall to help Wall reach the Class 3A Division II state semifinals.
He allowed zero sacks on 388 passing attempts, while recording 53 pancake blocks/knockdowns. He graded out at 95%.
Jenschke is one of three returning linemen for Wall, which also brings back three receivers and quarterback Landon York, positioning the Hawks for another deep playoff run.
Jenschke has also been offered by Friends University, an NAIA school in Wichita, Kansas.
He has received numerous camp invites, including from Navy, and he recently participated in the U.S. Army Bowl Combine.
Jenschke and teammate Reid Robertson, a wide receiver, have both been offered recently by Angelo State, which is in the midst of a strong run with three playoff appearances in the last four years.
