WALL, TX — The Wall High School football team’s offensive line was ranked No. 1 in Texas in Class 3A by Dave Campbell’s Texas Football.
The Hawks return three offensive linemen from last year’s team that allowed only one sack during the entire season.
All-state center Reid Ballard is back to anchor the line after a season in which he graded out at 95% and didn’t allow a sack.
Senior guards Baine Jenschke and Ryan Scondolari also return. Jenschke, who stands 6-foot-3 and 280 pounds, has been receiving a lot of recruiting attention with four college offers.
Senior Will Aldridge and junior Gage Jacoby are favorites to start at tackle, according to Texas Football.
Wall quarterback Landon York and his trio of returning receivers — Reid Robertson, Evan Boehle and Kellan Oliver — are also back for the Hawks, who will be one of the favorites to win the Class 3A Division II state title.
The other offensive lines that made Texas Football's list were Columbus at No. 2, Van Vleck at No. 3, Franklin at No. 4 and Tidehaven at No. 5.
