Lake View’s Season Opener Under Lightning Delay at San Angelo Stadium

 

UPDATE 7:15 p.m.: Fans are now walking back into the stadium, and the players are back on the field warming up with an approximate kickoff time of 7:30 p.m.

SAN ANGELO, TX — Lake View football fans are having to wait a little longer for the season to begin after a lightning delay went into effect at San Angelo Stadium about 15 minutes before the scheduled 7 p.m. kickoff with Fort Stockton.

The stadium was evacuated, and fans are now awaiting the updated kickoff time.

If the game is unable to be played tonight, it could be moved to Saturday or canceled altogether.
