Angelo State (4-3) went 0-2 at the LSC Challenge in Canyon last week. The Belles rallied from an 0-2 deficit to force a fifth set against UT Tyler before ultimately falling 16-14. In their second match, ASU struggled offensively, hitting .073 in a straight-set loss to No. 10 West Texas A&M.
Junior outside hitter Madi Parrish was named AVCA Division II National Player of the Week following her standout performance at the Kathleen Brasfield Invitational. Parrish tallied 54 kills, hit .412 for the weekend, and recorded two double-doubles, earning LSC Offensive Player of the Week honors as well. Parrish, an AVCA Second Team All-American in 2024, was also selected as the LSC Preseason Offensive Player of the Year.
