Lake View Chiefs Trailing Levelland at Halftime

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The Lake View Chiefs are facing their biggest deficit of the season tonight, trailing 21-7 at halftime against the Levelland Lobos at San Angelo Stadium.

Lake View had a chance to cut into Levelland’s lead in the final seconds of the first half, but the Chiefs passed up a 29-yard field goal try on the last play of the second quarter from the 12-yard line.

A shot to Braylon White in the end zone fell incomplete as time expired.

After falling behind 7-0, Lake View tied the game late in the first quarter on a 10-yard touchdown pass from Chris Alvizo to Cristian Esparza

Levelland burned the Chiefs’ secondary with TD passes of 61 and 40 yards to take a 21-7 lead.

Lake View will receive the kickoff to start the second half.
