SAN ANGELO, TX — The Angelo State women’s soccer team will look to continue its strong run in Lone Star Conference play this week as the Rambelles host UT Tyler on Wednesday before traveling to Midwestern State on Saturday.

The Rambelles enter the week at 5-2-4 overall and 4-1-2 in LSC play. Sanai Stewart leads the team with six goals, while Abby James paces the squad with five assists.
Several other Belles have made their mark offensively this season, including Carley Martinez and Graycen Rasmussen, who each netted their first career goals against Oklahoma Christian. Wrilyn Shippey scored her first career goal earlier this season against Oklahoma Baptist.
In total, 10 different players have scored for the Rambelles in 2025: Stewart, James, Emily Thames, Christina Clark, Martinez, Whitni Newbill, Rasmussen, Shippey, Jillian Greaves and Lexi Gonzales.
The Belles have recorded six shutouts this season and are looking to defend their 2024 titles after capturing both the LSC regular-season and tournament championships.
