Area Volleyball Players Named to THSCA Super Elite Team

SAN MARCOS, TX — Several volleyball players from area schools have been named to the Texas High School Coaches Association Super Elite Team.

Only 12 players in the state in each classification received the honor.

On the Class 3A team, Wall’s Peyton Dickson and Lexi Kemp were recognized after leading the Lady Hawks to their first-ever appearance in the state semifinals.

On the 1A team, nearly half of the selections were from Tom Green County. Water Valley’s Rylee Sears, Bailey Voss and McCaylen Woods were honored, along with Veribest’s Chloe Becker and Shaelee Leal.

Water Valley reached the state final after upsetting district rival Veribest in the regional final.
