Angelo State Golf Returns to Action at Rattler Invitational

SAN ANGELO, TX — After a three-week break, the Angelo State women’s golf team is back on the course Monday and Tuesday at the Rattler Invitational in San Antonio.

The tournament, hosted by St. Mary’s, will be played at Dominion Country Club and features 54 holes — 36 on Monday and the final 18 on Tuesday.

The Rambelles head into the event with momentum after tying for second at the Jack Brown Invitational earlier this spring. Mia Clarke and Beth Norton led the way in that tournament, each finishing tied for 10th.

This marks the third straight year Angelo State has competed in the Rattler Invitational after placing 11th last season and 10th in 2024. The field includes 17 teams, 12 of them from the Lone Star Conference.

The Rambelles also continue to build off a record-setting fall that included a program-best 54-hole team score of 886 and a school-record 66 from Christine Huse at the WT Fall Invitational.
