Galvan broke her own school record she set earlier this season by more than 16 inches.
Galvan had an outstanding senior year at Ballinger in 2024-25, highlighted by her eighth-place finish at the UIL State Cross Country Meet.
In track and field season, she was the district champion in the 400 and had top-five finishes at the regional meet in three events. She was fourth in the triple jump and a part of a 4x200 relay team that took fourth and a 4x400 relay that was fifth.
She was also the Offensive MVP of her district during basketball season.
Galvan will now look toward the outdoor track and field season, which begins March 20 at the West Texas Relays in Canyon.
