SAN ANGELO — Angelo State returns to Mayer Field on Friday evening for a Lone Star Conference doubleheader against UT Dallas, marking the first matchup between the two programs.
First pitch is set for 5 p.m., with the start time pushed back from its original schedule.
Last time out, the Rambelles completed a 3-1 weekend road trip through Oklahoma. Angelo State swept a doubleheader at Cameron, winning 6-4 in nine innings and 3-1, before splitting with No. 12 Oklahoma Christian. The Rambelles fell 9-2 in the opener but rebounded with a 5-4 victory in game two.
Scouting Report: UT Dallas
UT Dallas enters the weekend at 5-11 overall and 3-9 in conference play. The Comets are 2-2 in road contests this season.
