Wall Assistant Luna Named New Baseball Coach at Breckenridge

WALL, TX — Wall High School assistant coach Anthone Luna has been named the new head baseball coach at Breckenridge.

Luna has been an assistant at Wall since 2023, helping the Hawks to a combined record of 85-19 with a state title last spring.

Luna was also an assistant coach on Wall’s state-title winning football team last fall.

Luna has experienced significant success as an assistant coach, including an NCAA Division II national title as a graduate assistant with Angelo State University in 2023.

He’ll remain with Wall until the completion of the Hawks’ playoff run.

He could potentially face his future team in the area round of the Class 3A Division II playoffs as Wall will play the winner of Breckenridge and Henrietta next week.
