WICHITA FALLS, TX — Water Valley’s Landon Lacy and Boston Wiese shined on the six-man stage one more time Friday in the Texas Six-Man Coaches Association Division I All-Star Game.
Lacy and Wiese claimed the Offensive and Defensive MVP honors, respectively, to lead the West to a 54-20 win over the East at Memorial Stadium in Wichita Falls.
The two former Water Valley standouts led the Wildcats to back-to-back appearances in the state semifinals the last two seasons.
They were also the Co-MVPs on the San Angelo LIVE! All-Cover 1 Six-Man Football Team in 2025.
As Water Valley’s quarterback, Lacy threw for 1,792 yards and 30 touchdowns with three interceptions while completing 72% of his passes. He also had 36 carries for 321 rushing yards and seven TDs.
He was also a first-team all-state safety and one of the area’s better kickers.
Lacy will play next season at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene.
Wiese was a first-team all-state linebacker with 198 tackles, five interceptions, five forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries and two defensive touchdowns.
He was also a force as a fullback on offense with 66 carries for 544 yards and 22 TDs, along with 17 catches for 256 yards and two TDs.
Wiese is also one of five Texas players who have been chosen to represent Team USA in the CanAm Bowl. The all-star game will be held July 4 in Meeteetse, Wyoming.
