Christoval’s Maier Receives Offer to Play Beach Volleyball in College

CHRISTOVAL, TX — Christoval High School senior Hannah Maier has received an offer to play beach volleyball at Schreiner University.

Maier, a 5-foot-9 middle blocker, led Christoval last year with 218 kills, 52 aces, 46 blocks and 105 digs.

She helped the Lady Cougars reach the playoffs, where they lost to state power Wink in five sets in the opening round.

Maier is one of the Concho Valley's top returning players this season.

Schreiner, located in the Hill Country town of Kerrville, is an NCAA Division III school.

The Mountaineers will play their inaugural season of beach volleyball during the upcoming school year.
