Texas Team Eliminated at Little League World Series

WILLIAMSPORT, PA — The baseball team from Boerne, Texas, was knocked out of the Little League World Series on Monday with a 6-1 loss to Hamilton, Ohio.

It was Boerne’s second loss in the double-elimination tournament following a 4-3 loss to Tacoma, Washington on Friday.

Boerne fell behind 3-0 by the second inning and was unable to take advantage after loading the bases with one out in the third.

Ohio eventually took a 6-0 lead before Boerne scored its only run in the sixth inning when Carson Patrick singled home Walker Yost.

This was Boerne’s second appearance at the Little League World Series. The town of about 25,000 people located 30 miles northwest of San Antonio took fourth place in 2024.

Texas teams have won the Little League World Series twice, both times by Houston in 1950 and 1966.
