Wall Hawks Look Season Ready After First Scrimmage

WALL, TX — Wall Hawks fans received their first look at Wall's football team in the Hawks' scrimmage against Early last Friday, August 15. The Hawks looked to be in top form early as both the offense and defense performed at a high level.

Landon York and the offense scored on multiple drives through the air while adding several touchdowns from their running backs on the ground.

On defense, Early struggled to compile multiple first downs, and the Hawks kept them out of the end zone all night.

While just a scrimmage, the Hawks looked impressive from start to finish. Head Coach Craig Slaughter gave his thoughts on Wall's performance after the scrimmage. Watch that video here.

Wall returns to action on Thursday, August 21, at home when the Hawks host Breckenridge High School for the final scrimmage in Wall.
