Wall Squares Off With Grape Creek Tonight for Preseason's Final Scrimmage

WALL, TX — The Wall Hawks finish off the third week of fall camp on Thursday with a scrimmage against the Grape Creek Eagles.

Last week, Wall traveled to Snyder to scrimmage the Tigers in what was the first look at the Hawks' new lineup after graduating numerous seniors from last season's state championship team.

Head coach Craig Slaughter gave his thoughts Wednesday on the scrimmage and previewed the final scrimmage against Grape Creek.

The scrimmage against the Eagles will begin with the sub-varsity squads kicking off at 6 p.m. and the varsity beginning at 7:30 p.m. It is free and open to the public, and Slaughter said all are welcome to come and watch the Hawks prepare for their Week 1 kickoff against state-ranked 4A Canyon West Plains on Friday, Aug. 28.
