One Killed and Two injured in Shackelford County Crash

 

According to Department of Public Safety (DPS), one person was killed in a two vehicle crash at 3:25 p.m. June 30 in Shackelford County.

A passenger car was traveling north on SH 351, while a sports utility vehicle (SUV) was traveling south. The driver of the car lost control of the vehicle and crossed into the southbound lane, and crashed head on with the SUV.  The driver of the car was killed and a passenger in the car was transported to Hendrick Medical Center.

The investigating officers are Trooper Danny White, and DPS Anson. The weather was clear and cloudy, with dry road conditions.

DPS said the driver of the SUV was also transported to Hendrick. The extent of the injuries are unknown at this time. DPS will give updated information after further investigation.
