BELLVILLE, TX — A Texas businessman who owns a chain of Trump-themed restaurants is facing deportation after being detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Roland Mehrez Beainy, 28, owner of Trump Burger, entered the United States in 2019 as a non-immigrant and was authorized to stay through February 2024, according to ICE officials. He was arrested in May and released on bond in June pending immigration proceedings.
ICE stated that Beainy has no immigration status or benefit that prevents his removal.
Beainy’s restaurants use the likeness of President Donald Trump in their branding, though ICE clarified that he has “no known ties” to Trump or the Trump Organization. Photos of the chain’s four locations include imagery of the president, who is widely associated with a love for fast food.
The agency added that enforcement actions apply equally, regardless of political affiliations.
Beainy’s immigration case comes amid a broader push under the current administration to strengthen enforcement and deport individuals who have overstayed visas or entered the country unlawfully.
Trump Burger has a Yelp rating of 3 out of 5 stars.

¡O woe! An immigrant uses Trump's name and likeness to make money, gives him nothing for it, and gets deported! ¡Egads and gadzooks!
