Wrong Way Crash Kills Three In Early Morning Crash

 

DALLAS, TX – A wrong-way crash left three people dead on the Dallas North Tollway on Sunday morning.

According to NBC5, at about 3:00 a.m. state troopers responded to the call near I-635. 

The investigation revealed the driver of a Chrysler was traveling south on the northbound lanes when it struck another Chrysler traveling in the correct direction.

The driver traveling the wrong way entered the tollway at Belt Line Road and traveled the wrong way for about a minute before the collision occurred.

The driver of the car traveling in the right direction passed away, as well as two people in the car traveling the wrong way.

The northbound lanes were closed for nearly 7 hours as troopers investigated the crash.
