Thieves Steal $40,000 From ATM

 

ROUND TOP, TX – Authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying several suspects who stole nearly $40,000 from an ATM.

According to KXAN, on Sunday the suspects used a stolen pickup truck to rip the doors off the ATM by hooking a chain to the doors and forcing it open.

Surveillance footage shows three suspects were wearing black and white masks working together. Authorities believed a fourth suspect may have been driving a getaway car.

The pickup used to commit the robbery was stolen out of the Houston area and is currently in the custody of the Fayette County Sheriff Office.
