Police: Woman Allegedly Shoots Kids & Mother in Murder-Suicide

SAN ANTONIO, TX – On Monday morning a father of two made a horrific discovery in a north side San Antonio apartment complex.

According to KABB, the father stumbled into the aftermath of a murder-suicide that left four dead, including his kids.

Around 8:00 a.m. the father arrived at the complex where he saw the bodies inside the apartment from a crack in the window. When officers entered the apartment they found the body of two children, a 5-year-old girl and a 3-year-old boy, their 38-year-old mother, and the 68-year-old grandmother in two separate bedrooms.

The preliminary investigation seems to suggest the woman shot the two children and her mother before killing herself. The woman had recently lost custody of her children.
 
The father told police he had been trying to contact the mother for some time when he showed up at the apartment. According to him, the mother had not shown any previous signs of violence.

No further information was released regarding the shooting.
