Texas Toddler Found Safe in Oklahoma

 

COLLEGE STATION, TX – Three-year-old Adeline Paige Welch was safely located on Thursday after an Amber Alert was issued by the College Station Police Department.

Adeline, who requires a wheelchair, was abducted by her mother Maranda Nicole Nichols. 

Nichols abducted Adeline from College Station late Wednesday night. According to police, she does not have full custody of her child and left behind the medications and medical equipment Adeline uses daily.

Police were able to locate the child after Nichols stopped near Weatherford, Oklahoma, and tried to use a credit card.

Authorities confirmed Adeline was evaluated by doctors to ensure she was okay.
