Police: Man Fatally Shot Behind McDonald's

 

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A San Antonio man was fatally shot behind a southside McDonald's.

According to SAPD, officers were dispatched to the 3000 block of Nogalitos for reports of a shooting.

According to witnesses, the victim had stumbled into the drive-thru before he collapsed.

When officers arrived they located 54-year-old Michael Corales with a gunshot wound to the chest.

Corales was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

According to law enforcement, security footage indicated the shooting happened behind the fast-food restaurant. Further investigation of the scene revealed blood spatters on the floor but no shell casings.
