Police: Child Fatally Shot by Another Child in Walmart Parking Lot

 

DALLAS, TX -- An 11-year-old was rushed to the hospital after he was shot inside a vehicle in the Walmart parking lot Sunday.

According to the Dallas Police Department, two children inside the car found a loaded gun.

The preliminary investigation revealed a 32-year-old woman left the victim and a 9-year-old child inside the car while she was shopping inside Walmart.

The sequence of events have not been confirmed, but police believe the 9-year-old shot the victim.

The injured child was transported to a local hospital where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.

No arrests have been made in the case at this time.
