Border Patrol Raids Presidio Home

PRESIDIO, TX – During a raid of a Presidio home, agents with Border Patrol and Homeland Security located 37 undocumented immigrants hidden inside.

According to Customs and Border Protection, as agents arrived at the home they saw two people attempting to flee. The two individuals were detained and after searching the home they found 34 undocumented immigrants and 3 undocumented children.

The migrants were then transported to the  Presidio Border Patrol Station to be medically evaluated.

“The cooperation between Big Bend Sector agents and our partners at HSI continue to have a great effect on the criminal element of smuggling organizations,” said Big Bend Sector Chief Patrol Agent Sean McGoffin. “Multiple individuals were rescued from harsh conditions of overcrowding.”
