Worker Crushed by Sheets of Marble

 

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A truck driver in the San Antonio area was killed on Wednesday morning after being crushed by a load of marble.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, on June 28, 2023, San Antonio Police Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of E. Nakoma Dr. for the report of an incidental injury. When the officers arrived they discovered a man who had been crushed by a load of marble slabs.

Bystanders told police that the driver was unloading his truck from Houston. They heard a commotion but by the time they got to the man he was apparently deceased.

The man has not been identified at this time.
