WATCH: Reporter Stands Up to Corporate Media

HOUSTON, TX – Viewers of the Fox 26 newscast on Monday were in for a surprise as a reporter went off script to bash the corporate news company for "muzzling reporters."

As seen in the video above, on Jun. 14 during the 5 o'clock news, reporter Ivory Hecker went on a tangent regarding the current situation at Fox 26.

"Before we get to that story I want to let you the viewers know that Fox Corp has been muzzling me to keep certain information from you, the views, and from what I'm gathering I am not the only reporter being subjected to this," said Hecker. "I am going to be releasing some recordings about what goes on behind the scenes at Fox because it applies to you, the viewers."

The recordings are supposed to be released on Tuesday but as of now nothing has came out.

"I've found a nonprofit journalism group called project veritas that is going to help put that out tomorrow so tune in to them," finished Hecker before wrapping her original segment on air condition units.

Hecker's supervisor called her following the incident and told her she was suspended.
