Goodfellow AFB to Conduct Severe Weather Exercise

SAN ANGELO, TX — Goodfellow Air Force Base will conduct a severe weather exercise starting Wednesday, June 4, and continuing through Thursday, June 5, according to a media advisory issued Tuesday.

During the exercise, nearby residents may hear the base’s “giant voice” loudspeaker system, which is used to broadcast weather and safety information. Officials said the alerts are part of the drill and should not cause alarm.

Gate delays may occur as part of the planned activities.
